The new ‘Hoffmann Group Connected Tools (HCT)’ product family makes quality management mobile. In the form of the Bluetooth-compatible ‘GARANT electronic torque/angle wrench HCT with dial gauge’, there is now another tool on the market that can send measured values to a PC application such as Excel, a tablet or the new HCT mobile app at the push of a button. The free HCT app for iOS and Android is already available for download from the App Store and Google Play. The new torque/rotational angle wrench can now be ordered from the online shop www.hoffmann-group.com of the Hoffmann Group.
The new Hoffmann Group Connected Tools transfer measured data to a PC, tablet or smartphone via Bluetooth. This makes documentation especially easy. For mobile work, the Hoffmann Group has also developed a smartphone app that can manage HCT tools. Newly recorded measurement results can be displayed reliably in the app and, together with the serial number, measurement date, unit and target value, among other data, can be exported to a PC as a CSV file for further processing.
Thanks to a bi-directional interface, parametrisation can not only be carried out using the wrench, but also through the HCT app. In total, up to 100 screw tightening profiles can be programmed in five different modes and grouped in workflows with up to 10 screw tightening profiles each. The tool can be password-protected and configured so that after faulty screw tightening, further work can only be performed after entering a password. A USB-C port is the final touch.
The new HCT high-precision electronic torque/rotational angle wrench with dial gauge from GARANT offers an attractive design in addition to its impressive innovative functions. The high-contrast 2.8-inch TFT colour display with double scale boasts a stable viewing angle to best show the values achieved on a dial gauge and as a figure. This means the user can always keep an eye on the measured value until the next reset. A clear visual signal warns the user before they can exceed the maximum tightening value. This signal can be supplemented by a warning sound and a vibration mode. The tool is resistant to oils, greases, fuels, brake fluids and Skydrol, making it perfect for work in a professional workshop.
